ATC - World Travel

Here is another ATC I made for a monthly ATC swap. The theme for this month was World Travel, and we also needed to use a metal embellishment. I used distress ink in Antique Linen for the background of the card. I then used a stamp from a Recollections travel stamp set, in brown ink. I printed off a vintage looking map from the computer and distressed the edges with Vintage Photo. I added some ribbon and an antique looking brad. I thought it needed a little something else so I found some spiral metal clips I had in my stash to sort of balance out the "metal" on the card. Thanks for looking!

  1. This was how it was with travel: one city gives you gifts, another robs you. One gives you the heart’s affections, the other destroys your soul. Cities and countries are as alive and feeling, as fickle and uncertain as people. Their degrees of love and devotion are as varying as with any human relation. Just as one is good, another is bad.
