1. I'm left handed and very proud of it!!
2. I am a very picky eater, but probably couldn't live without bbq sauce.
3. I love to listen to all kinds of music (especially when crafting) and I even like rap! 
4. I am 26 with an upcoming birthday.
5. I got a cricut for scrapbooking and have yet to finish a scrapbook.
6. I run blood tests (and other body fluids) all night while working.
7. I majored in Biology in college.
8. I am the third of 4 kids, all born a year apart... so at one point we were all in high school the same year!

Twilight Swap - Mini Album

Another first for me in this twilight swap was making a mini - and it's also one of my favorites! I made this out of cereal box cardboard. It is 4X4 in size. Both my partner and I are Team Jacob - so I found some Jacob quotes and used pics of him and Bella only. This was a lot of fun to make - and we even used a few of the same pics in the mini's we sent to each other!!!!

Twilight Swap - Matchbox

Well, I can now share my first altered matchbox! This was done for the 15 days of twilight shoebox swap on the CMB. I posted a sneak peek of the charm - here is the whole project! For one of the  days we were to alter a matchbox, and then put inside: 2 stickpins, 2 flowers, and a charm. I had multiple stickpins so I put 4 in the box. I just learned how to make the lollipop fabric flowers. This is also my first  charm I made. So, this was a project of firsts all around! I had so much fun making this matchbox. I think it may be my favorite thing out of the whole shoebox.

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful day.  I spent a lot of this weekend working on a swap that's due next Saturday - it's a Twilight shoebox swap. I am so excited about getting this mailed out! For a lot of the items, it was my first time making it - altered matchbox, chunky charm, altered notebook, etc.

I worked on my matchbox last night and just love it! I hope my partner will too. I think it turned out pretty good with it being my first one. I don't want to give anything away, but I do want to post a sneak peek. This is of something INSIDE the box. And I will post pics once I mail it out and she receives it.

Blog Candy Winner Posted!!!

I want to start by thanking everyone for a great successful first blog hop! It was so much fun, and there was so much talent showcased. I know my blog candy isn't much, but it is just the start of good things to come hopefully!! Well I don't know how to copy and paste the box from random.org, but the winner is... comment #12.

Very cute box- great colors. I didn't use to be a fan of glimmer mist but when I found out all of the things I could "color" with it I am a convert! Thanks for sharing! Kim aka coyotekim

Bashful Bunny Blog Hop

I am so excited to be participating in my first Blog Hop. These are a great group of ladies that are on the Cricut MessageBoard. We were in a "secret bunny" swap and just have way too much fun together! What would go better with the bunny theme than a blog "HOP"?? You should have arrived here from the wonderful Sheri @ Somewhere Over The Rainbow. If you are coming into the middle of the hop, why don't you go ahead and start at the beginning with Julie? It will be lots of fun and you are bound to be inspired!

We were supposed to make something with an Easter/Spring theme. I made what I call a "Trinket Box". I started out with a plain paper mache box (in an egg shape!). I painted it with acrylic turquoise paint, then glimmermisted it to make it sparkle. I then added some paper flowers, rhinestones, ribbon and a butterfly. The butterfly was part of a 3 pack that I found at the Dollar Tree. I didn't have quite the right color of ribbon that I wanted to use around the bottom part of the box, so I used white ribbon and glimmermisted it for that wonderful lavendar color.  Then, of course I had to place some special bunnies inside to top it all off!

Also, since it's Easter time, it just makes sense to give away *blog candy*!! All you need to do is become a follower and leave a comment under this post!
